“When I was three years old, my babysitter said I would be a stage manager.”

As the oldest of four children, stage managing was all Mollie (she/her/hers) knew how to do growing up. Mollie was born in the Blue Ridge Mountains and spent 10 years in Chicago, but the highlight of her childhood was growing up in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, next to the local summerstock theater. Her dad frequented the stage there, introducing her to the world of theatre. Mollie began stage managing in high school in Colorado and never looked back.

During her senior year of high school, Mollie was accepted into the BFA Stage Management program at The Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri. In June of the same year, Mollie was the finalist at the International Thespian Festival in Lincoln, Nebraska for her Stage Management Individual Event for Legally Blonde.

In the fall of her junior year, Mollie moved to Arizona to complete her internship semester with Webster University. She worked as the Stage and Production Management Intern at Arizona Theatre Company in Tucson. She found her heart stuck in the southwest and connected to regional theatre even more after she left.

Highlights in St. Louis were:  Bright Star and Photograph 51 (Stage Manager) and [title of show] (ASM/Sub SM) at Webster, The Marvelous Wonderettes at the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis (Production Assistant), The Angel Band Project (Stage Manager), and Such Sweet Thunder at St. Louis Shakespeare Festival (ASM).

After graduating in May 2020, Mollie’s career was put on hold due to the pandemic, but she returned to live theatre as soon as safely possible in the summer of 2021.

Mollie is now a member of the Stage Management team at the Arizona Theatre Company. She spends her “off time” in the summer working for the REV Theatre Company (formerly known as the Fingerlakes Musical Theatre Festival at the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse) in Auburn, New York.

She has a goal to visit all 50 states. The current count is 45/50.
